Hey! Hey! I am waiting on Organic Cotton to come so I can do some more diaper sewing!!! The motherload is coming tomorrow. In the meantime I had a custom boxy bag to sew so I thought I would take pics while I worked on it and post them!

It’s been close to fourty years since I put a zipper in anything. I just hated working with them, until now. It wasn’t as difficult as I remembered. Like getting back up on a bike you might say. Yes, I made my first boxy bag this morning after coming to this site. I made the strap a wee bit longer, long enough to fit around my wrist. I used scrap material, green stripes for this one and a green print inside in place of the heavy canvas, just to see how it would come out. Maybe some spray starch will stiffin it up a wee bit…..

Hi there!
I am going to be making one of the boxy bags for my daughter for her bday and fill it with all kinds of goodies. Great tutorial. I did have one question though. I see on the materials list we need a piece of heavyweight canvas, outer print and fusible fleece. I don’t recall seeing in the directions where you fused any of the pieces. Maybe it’s just written and not show in a pic. Hmm, if you could shed some light on this for me, that would be great. I am going to look through the tutorial again.

はじめまして。自分はおしゃれが楽しみで、最近は毎日ファッション誌を読んでいます。そろそろ買いたいのは、長財布とオシャレなバッグです。財布は流行っているものではなく、素材重視で見つけたいです。ブランドならエルメスやミュウミュウが有名ですが、私はココマイスターとか値段の割にはおすすめです。今度のボーナスが出たら買ってみようかな。革は豚革がいいですね。変わったものでは象革(エレファントレザー)の財布も希少価値がありそうで面白そうですね。バッグは私は、４０代なので年齢に見合ったボディバッグも視野に入れています。コンパクトで使いやすいバッグが好みです。男性なら吉田カバンも良さそうなメーカーではないでしょうか。このような財布とバッグとかを持ってどこか楽しい場所に遊びに出かけたいですね。
